Water II is a Water magic tech in Chrono Trigger. Summoning a lake's-worth of water, Frog pushes it across the battlefield to attack all enemies. Frog learns Water II as his sixth tech, after learning Water (this spell's rudimentary form) from Spekkio at the end of time. Water-elemental creatures, such as Blue Scouters will absorb all damage done by this tech and convert it into Hit Points.

Description Attack all enemies with water.

Similar to the tech learned by Frog, the enemy version of Water II causes magic damage to Crono and his friends. It is first used by Heckran in the Magic Cave, once Crono first learns Lightning from Spekkio. The second time this tech is encountered as an enemy is tech is when fighting Magus in Fiendlord's Keep. The third encounter is atop Mountain of Woe, when fighting Giga Gaia, and finally, Blue Scouters in the Ocean Palace use this technique as well.

Water-elemental characters, such as Marle and Frog, receive half-damage from Water II. Also, characters wearing Blue Plates or Blue Vests will absorb Water II and convert the potential damage into Hit Points.

The graphics between the enemy version of this tech and Frog's version are identical.
