Garai is a boss fought in Chrono Cross. When Serge attemps to enter theDead Sea, the way is block by the Masamune and Radius comments that only the holy sword Einlanzer can overcome the Masamune. The quest for the Einlanzer brings the party to Garai's grave in the Isle of the Damned. Garai's angered spirit has lingered there and the party must defeat him to obtain the Einlanzer.
Attack Pattern
In addition to his formidable attack power, Garai uses two techs:
- Triplecut
- Willbreaker
Triplecut does significant damage, but Willbreaker is the most dangerous as it can incapacitate weaker characters or black innate characters in one blow.
